Working Scientifically coverage document
Primary Science leaders!!
Ensure that every year group is covering all five of the different areas of working scientifically with this coverage grid.
Year 2 Science assessment resource
Year 2 primary assessment resource.
Each unit of work has a front cover sheet showing both the working scientifically and knowledge objectives from the national curriculum.
Each cover sheet has a KWL grid:
Use at the beginning of a whole class work book or take the children’s ideas and place onto one and photocopy for individual children’s books.
Highlight (RAG) or tick to show children have achieved the objective.

The pack contains a working scientifically objectives sheet which can be stuck into the front cover of individual science books or your class working book.
